Demons get shit done

Over the years, I've come to suspect people who seem to have all their shit put together.

In fact, I prefer when folks are just a little bit... weird. Not too weird, just a little bit, just enough. Weird people tend to have some demons attached to them. I find those interesting.

It was when I saw this quote by Walter Isaacson that I properly understood why:

“People who are driven by demons get shit done.”

The doers will always gather my respect. And you don't need to be driven by demons to be a doer. But if you are, the stuff you do might just be that little bit more interesting.

And that, in the age of AI slop and best practice everything, is a value worth protecting and preserving.
